Poor Wi-Fi wastes time every day. The good news is that most problems have straightforward causes.
1. Use Business Grade Access Points
Consumer routers are not designed for dozens of users. Business access points handle more devices, can be managed centrally and receive regular security updates.
2. Place Access Points by Survey, Not Guesswork
Walls, glass, lifts and even aquariums affect coverage. A basic survey shows where signal is weak and where interference exists.
3. Separate Networks
Keep staff devices, guests and smart equipment such as TVs and cameras on separate networks. It improves both security and performance.
4. Use Modern Security Settings
WPA2-Enterprise or WPA3 where supported, strong passwords for guest networks and no default admin credentials.
5. Check the Internet Connection Too
Fast Wi-Fi cannot fix a slow or overloaded internet line. Measure both before deciding what to upgrade.
6. Monitor It
Central management shows which access points are busy, which devices struggle and when problems start.
